Woke up this morning to find someone (pat19171) had animated my illustrated version of a Karl Pilkington story. Karl Pilkington was/is just about one of the funniest experiences a human being can have.
I did the comic/story book during what must have been the peak of my Pilkington mania. I think it was over two days, one for the linework, the second for the colouring. Looking back, I'm pretty pleased with the results, although at the time I was hoping Karl, Ricky or Steve would look at it and give it a mention on their show...
You can see the original works here.

Haha. That's awesome. Guess you'll be wanting to stay in SF to catch your favourite band at this.
And guess who's got tickets to this?
You must be pretty stoked that someone went to the effort of animating that, just like Karl should be pretty stoked that you drew one of his life stories. He probably just thinks it 'right.
Fred.
That's a great collaboration there...
Glad you liked it, of course I made little effort myself, I just thought the excellent artwork deserved a bigger audience. My youtube account has been closed and all the subsequent videos due to me putting up clips from Live Earth. My new account name is AmerieExodus and the video is now here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQwjc5NTXp8
For non Brits, the music is from Romeo & Juliet, and there used to be feature on the Simon Bates radio show called "Our Tune" where heartbreaking stories of love gone wrong or right would be read out, with that music playing.
